Church constituted December 1867. New Light Beulah is the oldest African-American Baptist Church in lower Richland County. Current pastor is Reverend Gregory Cunningham. The church has about 700 members. The church is affiliated with the Wateree Baptist Association, Upper Division and the Columbia Metro Baptist Association. The church is a Bible believing congregation and strongly supports community evangelism. The is affiliated with the Educational and Missionary Convention of South Carolina and the South Carolina Baptist Convention.
