Review:I used to live next door to the jp back in the early eighties.The nieghborhood kids used to get doghnuts from them. I had a really good freind there her name was katie, she made a big impact on my life. she help me to get through a lot of bad times. I learned a lot about god and living right . Although I backslid got into drug and married a abusive husband I have always thought back on the jp. like they say when ever you are down think of the good times thats what keeps you going forward. My first husband ended up commiting suicide and now I am married to a really good man. I live in alabama now far away from chicago. I will always have in my heart the jesus people because they was the first to open my eyes to God , as they had many of the children in uptown
