The ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Irish Orthodox Catholic Church is vested in our Holy Synod which currently has three validly consecrated (Arch)Bishops formaly of the Ukrainian Orthodox Jurisdiction and two Bishops who are spiritual advisors to the synod. This Synod has complete authority over the American Jurisdiction of the I.O.C.C.NOTE: This American (Western Rite) Jurisdiction is responsible for its own ecclesiastical affairs and is NOT subject to any other Orthodox body, foreign or domestic. We has NO connection to any other group(s) claiming to be "Celtic Orthodox", "Irish Orthodox or Orthodox Catholic".Our Liturgy, Prayers & Chants are from the orthodox prayer books & Orthodox Study Bible
