Review:I am writing this review in regards to the Greencastle Bible Church as a person who has been a Lutheran for my entire life. I had the opportunity to attend there after an invitation from Pastor Charles Flesher when I was working as an election official a couple years ago. I would agree with the previous entry about the musical talent of the church family. The music is quite simply wonderful. It is very uplifting.
I have attended there enough times in the past year to hear Pastor Flesher give excellent and Biblical backed spiritual based sermons. His teachings are based in fact and supported by chapter and verse from the Bible. Something that unfortunately is lacking in more traditional organized churches that I have attended over the past several years.
The congregation is friendly but not overbearing.
My overall evaluation of Greeencastle Bible Church is one of an excellent church, led by an excellent Pastor, with an excellent congregation. I would recommend it to any one who is searching for a good Bible oriented church to worship.

Review:It is good to have an independent bible believing church that has a preacher with fine elocution skills and sticks to the subject and scripture. Pastor Flesher keeps your attention, does not pound the pulpit, and teaches you. This is a small church with people of a broad cross section of social/economic levels - from blue collar to upper class. They believe in the basic fundamentals of the faith. The music is traditional hymns, but the vocalists and musicians are college trained and highly skilled. Some members have a four octave range. Pianists are college music majors. If you are tired of the noisy and less reverent "seeker friendly" format this is the place for you, though seekers are welcome and Greencastle is friendly to them. "Emerging church" people won't be found here.
