Buckfast Abbey - Devon, England, UKBuckfast Abbey is the home of a Community of Roman Catholic Benedictine monks in Devon, England. The first monastery was founded in 1018, but was suppressed by King Henry VIII in 1539. It was refounded in 1882. The present Abbey Church was built by the monks themselves on the foundations of the medieval Abbey.
