Review:I received my Bachelor of Theology and Master of Pastoral Counseling from Andersonville. If you are looking to increase your knowledge in the WORD and have a desire to help people, Andersonville is the place for you. If you want a big name school just to say you went there, that's fine too but Please do not get caught up in all the accreditation hype. God bless

Review:I have been in the ministry for several years. I am currently in Andersonville's Doctorate of Pastoral Counseling. It is a great program. I have finished three courses thus far and they are great. For the money it is one of, if not THE best deal going now for a school that is accredited and is not a degree mill. You have to do lots of course work! (Reading books, listening to CDs and taking exams to send in for grading)

Review:I have two degrees from ATS a BA a MDIV and I am working on a TH.D. The course work is not terribly rigorous but the teaching is solid and fundamental. They also offer good exposure to basic counseling, exposition, and other practical ministry courses that will help any minister who is going to enter or has already entered the ministry.
After earning their MDIV you have received the basic preparation to serve as a pastor in a local church. I would also suggest that if you like to study that you pursue a more rigorous institution to develop your skills.
But if you did not go to college and need ministry training ATS is a good place to get much of the help you need.

Review:I earned a masters and doctorate degree at Andersonville. I applied to Village Missions to be a missionary. They would not accept my degrees. I have since found out that many Christian organizations will not recognize these degrees.

Review:This is what I can tell you about Andersonville Theological Seminary. If you listen tot he entire course of instruction, take notes and do the required outside reading and assignments. Then take the exams you will find them both challenging and informative. My expereince with Andersonville was a fabulous learning experience and I am very proud of my degree. The accreditation doesn't matter to me, I'm not seeking a job with the Federal Government or to teach in a secular University. No matter what anyone says, unless they attended they don't really have a valid opinion. I took the classes and did the work and highly recommend them if you want to be trained from the BIble. shon

Review:I have just completed the Doctor of Theology program at Andersonville Theological Seminary. I am also enrolled in the PhD program at Trinity Theological Seminary where I have 3 courses left and my dissertation. Andersonville provides courses via CD or Cassett. They are not complicated or extremely scholarly, what they are is good fundamental Bible learning. You will get from the course proportionate to what you put into them. I loved the courses and walked away knowing my Bible much better. Am I a theological master, not at all, but did I get my monies worth, indeed. Thank you Andersonville for wonderful Bible based training.
